Shopify Exact integration without manual order entry

We integrate Shopify with Exact Online, Exact Globe (Next), Exact for Manufacturing and Exact Synergy. For cloud environments we work via the Exact Online REST API and webhooks. For on-premise Exact Globe environments we work via the Exact XML/SDK or through a middleware layer (Alumio, Patchworks, Combidesk) depending on volume and custom requirements.

A middleware integration (Combidesk, Alumio, EazyMagic) is faster to launch and cheaper to build, but you pay monthly transaction fees and are bound by the tool's capabilities. A custom Shopify Exact integration on Shopify Admin API and Exact API is more expensive to build but supports your own business logic, scales without transaction fees and gives full control over edge cases like split shipments, subscriptions and B2B price lists. We advise middleware up to roughly 5,000 orders per month, custom beyond that or for complex workflows.

A middleware integration with standard order, customer and stock sync goes live within 2 to 3 weeks. A custom Shopify Exact integration with product mapping, VAT handling, returns and B2B flows takes 6 to 10 weeks including staging tests and monitoring. A Shopify Plus and Exact Globe enterprise implementation with multi-warehouse and multi-currency typically runs 10 to 16 weeks.

A standard Shopify Exact integration on middleware starts at €2,500 one-off plus the tool licence. A custom Shopify Exact Online integration starts at €7,500. By default we sync orders (Shopify to Exact), customers and debtor cards (bidirectional), products and SKUs (Exact to Shopify or bidirectional), stock levels per location (Exact to Shopify), invoices and credit notes (generated in Exact), payment status and payment method (Shopify to Exact), VAT codes per order line and ledger accounts per product group. Custom fields like customer discounts, price lists, delivery dates and cost centres can be configured to your model.

Yes. For multi-warehouse setups we link each warehouse in Exact to a Shopify location and sync stock per location in real time. Shopify's location-based fulfilment works seamlessly with Exact warehouses. For multi-currency we sync order totals in the selected currency, with automatic conversion to your reporting currency in Exact at the Exact rate of the order date. Built for Shopify Plus, Shopify Markets and international rollouts.

A return in Shopify triggers a credit note or negative sales booking in Exact, with correct VAT deduction and ledger reversal. Stock is automatically returned to the correct warehouse location. Refunds via Shopify Payments, Mollie or Adyen are matched to the right bank account in Exact, so your bank reconciliation closes without manual work. Edge cases like partial returns, restock fees and gift card returns are configured case by case.
