As Senior UX/UI Designer you're responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly and conversion-focused digital experiences. You work independently or as part of a team on a wide range of projects, from concept to pixel-perfect final result. You know better than anyone how to bring user behaviour, client goals and design principles together into smart solutions that measurably perform.

You're involved in the entire process: from facilitating workshops and turning insights into wireframes to designing high-end UI for websites, platforms and online stores. Visual design or branding isn't a must, but if you're strong there too, that's a serious plus.

This is explicitly a senior role. That means you don't just design, you set direction. You guard the quality bar, you coach fellow designers, you challenge developers on feasibility and you tell a client honestly when an idea won't help their users. Your judgement carries weight in how we design.

We have the developers in house, which means what you design actually ships that way. No designs that dilute along the way, but collaboration from the first moment through to after launch. That saves frustration and makes the end result demonstrably better.

For the right person this is also a stepping stone. We're growing fast and the design team grows with us. If you want it, the Head of Design role is within reach: responsible for the team, the process and the creative direction of the agency.

What will you do?

You own the design quality of your projects and you influence the quality of all the design work we deliver. You get the freedom to shape your own process along the way.

Translating complex client challenges into converting UX/UI solutions
Designing modern, scalable digital interfaces across devices
Guiding projects from the start: from wireframes, flows and user journeys to hi-fi UI
Guarding consistency in design, usability and brand experience across projects
Setting up and maintaining design systems and component libraries in Figma
Taking clients through your choices with well-argued presentations and clear design rationale
Coaching fellow designers, challenging developers and collaborating with strategists
Facilitating client workshops and design validation sessions
Contributing to pitches, new business and Webfluencer's creative positioning
Contributing to internal projects and the evolution of our processes and ways of working

What do you bring?

We're looking for a designer who looks beyond the screen. You understand the business goal behind a project and you can explain why your design answers it, to a marketing manager and a developer alike.

5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer, agency or startup experience is a plus
Advanced proficiency in Figma, knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus
You understand how design influences behaviour, conversion and brand perception, and can back it up
Experience with design systems and working with components at scale
You can lead projects independently and advise clients at a strategic level
You give and take sharp feedback and make other people's work better with it
A strong and diverse portfolio with web, mobile and optionally SaaS or platform work
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English

Nice to have

Experience with motion or 3D design
Experience with CRO, A/B testing and data-driven design decisions
Experience leading or coaching other designers
Affinity with front-end, so you know what's technically possible
Experience with branding and developing visual identities
