We are looking for a talented front-end intern who wants to learn how to turn designs into fast, polished, and scalable websites. We work for exciting brands such as Toyota, Bacardi, and ID&T. Want to work on these kinds of amazing projects? Then you've come to the right place. Our team of experienced developers will train you to become a confident front-end developer who's at home in modern stacks such as Node.js, Next.js, Astro, and Shopify.
During your internship you'll contribute to real client projects. You'll build components and pages with Next.js and Astro, work with Node.js for tooling and APIs, and dive into Shopify themes to bring online stores to life. You'll learn how to write clean, reusable code, how to keep an eye on performance and accessibility, and how to work closely with designers and developers to ship a design pixel-perfect to production.
Wat ga je doen?
- Translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces
- Building components and pages with Next.js and Astro
- Working with Node.js for build tooling, scripts, and simple APIs
- Contributing to Shopify stores, including theme customizations
- Keeping an eye on performance, accessibility, and clean, reusable code
- Collaborating with designers and developers and presenting your work within the team
- Taking ownership of part of a project independently once you've gained enough experience
Wat breng je mee?
- You're studying software development, front-end development, or something similar
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and the drive to deepen it quickly
- Affinity with or curiosity about modern frameworks such as Next.js, React, or Astro
- A first exposure to Node.js and the npm ecosystem is a plus
- Attention to detail: you want an interface to look exactly like the design
- A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude and a desire to solve problems creatively
- Good communication skills in Dutch or English
